PlayerETF LLC (“PlayerETF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the PlayerETF platform at playeretf.com. We are a California limited liability company. Questions about this policy can be directed to privacy@playeretf.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and username. This information is managed through Clerk, our authentication provider.

Payment information

When you deposit or withdraw funds, we collect bank account details (routing number, account number, and account type) and payment method information. Deposit transactions are processed by Stripe. Withdrawals are processed through Mercury. We do not store your full bank account number on our servers — it is transmitted directly to Stripe or Mercury for processing.

Identity verification

We may collect government-issued identification and other identity documents as required by law or our payment processors for identity verification purposes.

Transaction and trading data

We record all deposits, withdrawals, trades, and balance changes on our platform. This data constitutes the financial ledger of your account and is retained for compliance and dispute resolution.

Usage data

We collect standard web analytics data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used to maintain platform security and improve our service.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only as described below.

Stripe

Payment processing for deposits. Stripe receives your payment method details and processes ACH transactions on our behalf. Stripe's privacy policy governs their use of your data.

Mercury

Withdrawal processing. Mercury receives your bank account details and recipient information to initiate outbound ACH transfers. Mercury's privacy policy governs their use of your data.

Clerk

Authentication and account management. Clerk stores your name, email, and login credentials. Clerk's privacy policy governs their use of your data.

Legal and compliance

We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PlayerETF, our users, or others.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for a minimum of five years after account closure, as required for financial compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account and personal data subject to our legal retention obligations — financial transaction records cannot be deleted while retention requirements apply.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and secure infrastructure providers. We do not store raw bank account numbers on our servers. No security system is perfect — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@playeretf.com.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations
Portability: Request your data in a portable format
Opt-out: Opt out of non-essential communications

8. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. 9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, authenticate your account, and analyze platform usage. Essential cookies are required for the platform to function. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

10. Children's Privacy

PlayerETF is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of PlayerETF after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
